New Vision students excel in TG science drama competition

Khammam: Students of New Vision Concept School, who represented Khammam district at the State-level Science Drama competitions, secured third prize with their performance ‘The Last Cry of the Ocean,’ school principal MD Abad Ali informed.

The drama focused on marine pollution, plastic waste and environmental protection, highlighting the impact of pollution on oceans and the need for greater environmental responsibility.

The competition was held at the SCERT Bhavan in Hyderabad on September 22, where the students’ presentation received appreciation for its scientific theme and creative portrayal.

The students had earlier secured first place in the district-level competition held among 38 schools, earning them a place in the State-level contest.

R Akshaya Sri of Class 10; Tanveer, MD Hifza, Jhansi and CH Videep of Class 8; Kshetra and CH Tanvi of Class 7; and Amhar of Class 6 participated in the drama.

Science teachers G Usha, D Sabitha, Bhavani, Janardhan, Sravanthi, and Sunitha guided the students.
