Khammam: BJPleader Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Wednesday said a month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan would be organised from September 17 to October 17 to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public life.
The campaign will focus on service-oriented activities, beneficiary outreach and awareness programmes.
Speaking to reporters at the BJP district office here on Wednesday, Reddy said blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, tree plantation programmes and health camps would be conducted as part of the campaign. Party workers would also visit hospitals and Anganwadi centres and undertake activities aimed at assisting people in need.
He said special programmes would be organised for students, women and youth. Essay-writing, drawing and elocution competitions would be held for students of Classes 8 to 12 on the theme ‘My Dream India’, while rangoli competitions and Seva Jyothi rallies would also be conducted.
