Nellore: Doctors at KIMS Cuddles successfully saved a 43-year-old woman suffering from severe anemia with a critical hemoglobin level of 1.3 g/dL due to prolonged bleeding.
Admitted in critical condition with a blood pressure of 80/50 mmHg, Mamata received immediate blood transfusions in the MICU.
Once her vitals stabilized, the medical team—including Dr Manjusha and Dr Jagadish—successfully performed a complex Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy to remove fibroids causing the hemorrhage. KIMS Chairman Dr Bollineni Bhaskar Rao and hospital management congratulated the multidisciplinary clinical and nursing team for their lifesaving intervention.
