Nizamabad: Collector Bhavesh Mishra has directed officials to complete all arrangements for kharif paddy procurement, which will begin across Nizamabad district from October 1. Reviewing preparations with district officials, Tahsildars and MPDOs, he instructed officers to inspect procurement centres, godowns and function halls and ensure adequate storage and basic amenities.
The Collector also stressed completing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process within the deadline and ordered notices to be issued in cases of unmapped individuals and discrepancies. Pending Bhoo Bharathi applications must be cleared within a week after scrutiny under prescribed norms. Officials were asked to expedite pending Indiramma houses. Of 8,274 completed double-bedroom houses, 6,713 have been allotted, while the remaining 1,561 will be distributed through a transparent lottery. Mishra also urged wider outreach for minority welfare schemes, noting that only Rs 7.79 crore of Rs 19.98 crore under Shaadi Mubarak had been utilised.
