Tirupati: The Red Sanders Anti-Smuggling Task Force (RSASTF) has brought laurels to its unit by clinching 11 medals at the first Andhra Pradesh State Police Sports and Games Meet held in Vijayawada.
The two-day sporting event witnessed enthusiastic participation from police personnel across the state, who competed in a range of disciplines.
The Task Force standout performance came in water sports, especially in kayaking. Constable M Hazuvali emerged as the top medal-winner, bagging five medals — two gold, one silver, and three bronze. Constable A Vidyasagar also impressed with a haul of five medals, comprising one gold, one silver, and three bronze.
Task Force SP P Srinivas congratulated the medal-winning constables and praised their dedication and hard work.
He said their achievements had brought name and fame to the RSASTF and would inspire the entire force. He encouraged the athletes to keep up their training and strive for greater success in future competitions.
