Vijayawada: The stall of Dr RVR & NRI Institute of Technology (NRIIT) Deemed to be University emerged as one of the major attractions at the PAN IIT Summit 2026, held in Vijayawada on October 3.

The university showcased ‘Quantum Workforce Optimisation’, a quantum computing project developed by Team Trinetra from its Department of Data Science. The team recently emerged as global winners in the WISER + Vanguard Industry Challenge 2026, conducted online from Washington, USA.

The project attracted considerable interest from visitors, with experts from the quantum technology, academic and industry sectors appreciating the students’ innovation and application of quantum computing.

Among those who visited the stall were Dr L Venkata Subramanyam, founder of Qubit Force and inventor of India’s quantum computer; CV Sridhar, Mission Director, Amaravati Quantum Valley; Prudhvi Pinaka, CEO, Qubitech; and Prof V Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras. Vice-chancellors of various universities, government officials, industry representatives, faculty members and students from different institutions also visited the stall and interacted with the team members.
