Vijayawada: BJP State media representative Dr Eluri Ramachandra Reddy has appealed to people to participate in the ‘Seva Sankalp Maha Abhiyan’ being organised across the country to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday.
In a statement here on Monday, he said the month-long campaign, being held from September 17 to October 17, should focus on public service, healthcare, sanitation, blood donation, environmental protection and other social service activities.
He urged party workers and the public to extend support to the poor, elderly, women, youth and tribal communities and undertake welfare activities on a wider scale.
He said people’s participation in such programmes would strengthen the spirit of service in society.
