The 18th State Council meeting and executive committee elections of the Andhra Pradesh Revenue Services Association (APRSA) are scheduled for September 20 in Vijayawada.

Vijayawada: The 18th State Council meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Revenue Services Association (APRSA) and elections to its state executive committee for the 2026-29 term will be held on Sunday, September 20, at Revenue Bhavan at Lenin Centre in Vijayawada. The council meeting will begin at 9 am with hoisting of the APRSA flag and offering floral tributes to the bronze statue of former association leader Thota Sudhakar Prasad. APRSA state president Bopparaju Venkateswarlu will preside over the meeting.
Presidents and secretaries of all divisions, district executive committee members from all 26 districts, state council members and state executive committee members are expected to participate in the meeting.
As the three-year term of the present state executive committee ends on September 29, elections will be held to constitute a new state executive committee for 2026-29. Elections in all 26 districts have already been completed.
State election officer P V Krishna Rao, former state vice-president of the association, issued the election notification on September 4. As per the notification, 30 posts will be filled through elections, including one president, one associate president, eight vice-presidents, one general secretary, two sports and cultural secretaries, eight secretaries, eight organising secretaries and one treasurer.
