Fervour marks birth anniversary fete of Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Devotees render bhajans, take part in Nagara Sankirthan and conduct Jhula Utsav
Visakhapatnam: Following Covid-19 protocols, devotees took part in the 95th birth anniversary celebrations of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with fervour across Visakhapatnam. Organised by various samithis and bhajana mandalis of Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisations in the district, a number of activities were held on the occasion.
Led by Principal of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar Ayyagari Kousalya, teachers and the staff participated in bhajan recitation on the school campus.
Later, 'Jhula Utsav' was performed. At Sri Sathya Sai Prema Sadan Mandir, bhajans were rendered by city samithi singers for universal peace and harmony. A book titled 'Yadbhavan Tad Bhavathi' authored by V Ramesh Kumar, AGM, Sankar Foundation, was released on the occasion.
District president V R Nageswara Rao and convener of city seva samithi PRSN Naidu participated in the celebrations. Likewise, suprabhatham and Nagara Sankirthan were held at Sri Sathya Sai Mandir, Ukkunagaram.
