As a part of the 65th Railway Week celebrations organised by East Coast Railway (ECoR) at Bhubaneswar on Friday, Waltair Division bagged seven efficiency shields
Visakhapatnam: As a part of the 65th Railway Week celebrations organised by East Coast Railway (ECoR) at Bhubaneswar on Friday, Waltair Division bagged seven efficiency shields.
The division received efficiency shields for its outstanding performance in various fields such as accounts, electrical (traction), environment management, medical, operations, wagon maintenance and best clean station (Visakhapatnam) shield.
General Manager of ECoR, Vidya Bhushan participated in the event as chief guest in the presence of Additional General Manager Sudhir Kumar.
Addressing the gathering, Vidya Bhushan complimented the employees for their determined efforts and dedication for achieving the honour of the highest loading Zone in Indian Railways.
Merit awards and shields were handed over to various officers and staff for their outstanding performance. Divisional Railway Manager, Waltair, Chetan Kumar Shrivastava received the shields along with branch officers.
