Wanaparthy: “A Mee-Seva centre has been fined Rs 10,000 and deactivated; such centres must operate only from their authorised locations,” said district collector Adarsh Surabhi. He warned of strict action against unauthorised operation of Mee-Seva and Aadhaar centres.

In recent inspections, it was found some centres were operating from unauthorised locations or within internet cafes. Addressing these violations, authorities have imposed a fine on one such centre and deactivated it. The collector clarified that operators of these centres must provide services only from the designated, authorised locations. Relocating a centre without prior approval authorities is strictly prohibited.

“Relocating these centres without permission or operating services out of internet cafes will be treated with the utmost seriousness. Those engaging in such practices will face strict consequences, including fines and deactivation of the centres. The public is advised to avail services only at authorised centres,” he said.
