Indore: In a tragic incident, the father of a groom was killed in a celebratory firing during the pre-wedding ceremony at Jagoti village in Ujjain on Wednesday. Going into details, Vikram Singh (47) has fixed the marriage of his son Ranjit Singh. As part of this, a pre-wedding ceremony was organized. In this context, the groom's family, along with relatives and friends went to a temple in the village in a procession.
As everyone was entering the temple, three rounds of gunfire were shot in the air, one of which accidentally hit Vikram Singh's chest and he collapsed on the spot. The family members immediately rushed him to the nearby hospital, where doctors declared brought dead. On receiving a complaint, Raghavi police registered a case and investigating further.
