India, which is hosting the BRICS summit in New Delhi, has showcased the country's placard name as 'Bharat' for the first time at the event. The summit, which was themed 'Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability', saw the attendance of leaders of BRICS nations, partner countries, and special invitees. India has hosted the BRICS summit for the fourth time, with 2012, 2016, and 2021 also being hosted by the country.

The summit is held under the motto of 'Incredible India', and the country has been using its indigenous name, 'Bharat', to showcase its nameplate in connection with its efforts to campaign as an alternate name.

Notably, nameplate of Prime Minister Narendra Modi displays 'Bharat'. Also, the venue of the summit is termed as 'Bharat Mandapam'. It is pertinent to mention that the government has launched a slew of initiatives to bolster its branding strategy under the name 'Bharat'.
