According to Richa Ranawat, who has designed for celebrities like Vahbbiz Dorabjee and Anita Hassanandani Reddy, it's the creativity that will eventually stand out irrelevant of designers deciding to have celebrities as their showstopper or not.

When asked about the importance of having a celebrity on board while showcasing a fashion line, Richa told IANS that “In the industry, it's kind of very difficult. Everyone wants to take actresses, celebs as showstoppers. Earlier, models used to be your showstopper. That way your designs used to be more highlighted and it would give you more exposure.”

"Having said that, eventually your creativity speaks how creative you can be. I strongly believe that creativity will stand out even without a celebrity," she added. Believing that celebrities can certainly give a push to their fashion line she said, "Celebrities do help us a lot in many ways.

Celebrities give a push to our clothing as they are public figures." Richa says for her, fashion is all about confidence. "If you are confident about what you are wearing, you will be comfortable," she added.
