Dr P Bhaskara Naidu, a retired cardiology professor of Osmania General Hospital and academic director of Ramesh Hospitals, was unanimously elected president of the Andhra Pradesh Cardiological Society of India (APCSI) at its annual conference held recently.

Dr P Bhaskara Naidu, a retired cardiology professor of Osmania General Hospital and academic director of Ramesh Hospitals, was unanimously elected president of the Andhra Pradesh Cardiological Society of India (APCSI) at its annual conference held recently.

The other newly elected APCSI office-bearers include Dr P Sujatha, Dr A Vasanth Kumar and Dr PNS Haritha (vice-presidents), Dr P Ramesh Babu (secretary), Dr B Venkateswara Rao and Dr BYugandhar (joint secretaries) and Dr A Purnanand (treasurer). The main objective of the APCSI is to promote awareness about heart diseases among people.
