Alumni extends support for development of AC College
The alumni of Andhra Christian College Guntur met at the college premises on January 12 and discussed extending its support and co-operation for the development of the college. The college alumni met today on the occasion of completion of 132 years of the college.

AP Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao who inaugurated the alumni meet said that since its inception in 1885, the college produced three chief ministers including Kasu Brahmmananda Reddy,Bhavanam Venkataram Reddy and NT Rama Rao and added that several eminent personalities legislators, ministers, judges, from various fields got education in this college.
Vemuru MLA Nakka Anand Babu who studied intermediate and degree in the college, said that AC College is the first educational institution in Guntur city, where girls joined for education in 2014. He assured that he would extend his co-operation for the development of college.
MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad said that former chief ministers NTR, Kasu Brahammananda Reddy and Bhavanam Venkataram Reddy, film personalities like Kongara Jaggaiah brought name and fame to the college. He said that the college produced several IAS officers as well.
CPM national executive member BV Raghavulu reminded his association with the college. He said he likes library in the AC College and said he drew inspiration from the books in the library.
The old students reminded their memories with their friends and extended their co-operation for the development of college. Later, they released CDs. Later,alumni felicitated Dr Kodela Siva Prasad, Nakka Anand Babu, Alapati Rajendra Prasad, BV Raghavulu on the occasion.
