A three-day national seminar on ‘Naari Swasthya Vivechana 2017’ is being held at Indian Medical Association(IMA) hall in Vijayawada.

A three-day national seminar on ‘Naari Swasthya Vivechana 2017’ is being held at Indian Medical Association(IMA) hall in Vijayawada. The seminar organised by Department of Prasuthi Tantra and Stree Roga sponsored by Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, New Delhi. This will continue till January 21.

Dr CL Venkat Rao, Executive Vice-Chairman, Swachh Andhra Mission, who was at the programme as a special guest said that it is for the first time that a national seminar on Ayurveda is being conducted since Dr NRS Government Ayurvedic college which was established in the year 1922. He expressed hope that the importance of Ayurveda will grow in the coming years in the field of medicine.

The seminar was organised under the supervision of Dr M Philip Anand Kumar, principal Government Ayurveda college, while Dr S Aruna DGO Ex-Minister of health and family welfare, Government of AP, M Revathi IFS, Commissioner Ayush department Government of AP were also present on the inaugural session.

Dr Nagabalaram BHMS Superintendent, Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Dr G Babu, Asst Director Regional Ayurved Research Institute for skin disorder and Dr Bullaiah along with researchers, academicians, teachers, clinicians and scholars in the field of Ayurveda and PG scholars residents, house physicians and graduate of ayurveda were present at the evnt inaugural as well.
