Mayor, MLA lay stones for development works
MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao and Mayor Pavani laid foundation stones for multiple developmental works in the city here on Monday. The duo laid stone for walking track works and community hall works.
Kakinada: MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao and Mayor Pavani laid foundation stones for multiple developmental works in the city here on Monday. The duo laid stone for walking track works and community hall works.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA informed that a walking track would be constructed at a cost of Rs 19 lakh at the Andhra Polytechnic College and the works would start soon. “If the walking track gets completed, then both students and the elderly can use this walking track that would benefit the people of Jagannadhapuram.”
He also said that a community hall works, which was left incomplete in the 23rd division, would be completed with an expenditure of Rs 10 lakh. Corporators Meesala Sridevi, Meesala Uday, Malladi Gandharam, DE Satya Narayana, AE Bhavani Sankar and others participated in the event.
