She participated as chief guest for the ‘Training programme to the Special Juvenile Police Unit, Police Officers, Members of Juvenile Justice Boards, Child Welfare Committees and other stake holders’ held at the District Legal Services Authority office in district courts complex in Ongole on Monday.

Priyadarsini explained that parents have a pivotal role in the growth and protection of the children. She advised the parents to observe the habits, behavior and time schedules regularly and make them know the good and bad voluntarily.

She said that the children need not be pressurised to become good citizens in future. The judge said that the police officers should not wear uniform when they were trying to grab crime related information from the juveniles. She also advised them to use the vocabulary that was permitted as per the Act only.

The mobile court judge B Vanisri, Dr Hima Bindu, specialist from Siri Hospital, excise special judge M Sudha, DSP Mariyadas, DLSA secretary T Raja Venkatadri, permanent Lok Adalat chairman P Adinarayana provided training for the police officials about dealing with the children.

The Additional District Judges, RJ Viswanatham, S Ramesh, Ch Rajagopala Rao, Senior Civil Judges B Sobhakumari, R Sarat Babu, Junior Civil Judges A Purnima, M Anuradha, Bar Association president KRT Paul, CWC member B Padma and others participated in the programme.
