Sansad Yatra poster releasedA Hyderabad: Telangana Gazetted Officers Association president and TJAC vice chairman Srinivas Goud, on Friday said that the Central government was deep in slumber and failed in resolving the long pending Telangana issue. He unveiled a 'Sansad Yatra Chalo Delhi' poster- a two-day satyagraha deeksha to be held on April 29 and 30- at New MLA Quarters along with TJAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram. The TJAC slogan, 'Congress ko khatam karo, Telangana haasil karo' (End the Congress, achieve Telangana state), was highlighted in the poster. He sought the Centre to introduce Telangana Bill in the Parliament and keep its promise of offering statehood to Telangana region. He warned that the Congress party would not survive if their demand was not met in the near future. The Congress leaders of the region should together and mount pressure on the Centre, he remarked. It was an apt time for the Congress leaders to seek justification on the issue, he said and opined that the party (Congress) would not remain in history if it failed to grant Telangana state. Movement for Peace and Justice chairman Hamid Mohammed Khan, who was present at the event, alleged that the Centre was deceiving Telangana people on their demand of Telangana formation. People would certainly teach a lesson to the Congress government at the Centre and in the State if it ignored the T movement, he warned.
