Man Strangulates Wife to Death, Rajiv Grihakalpa in Keesara Mandal. According to police, the accused Narsinga Rao, who was in an inebriate state, attacked his wife Hemalatha in a fit of anger and throttled her to death, using a wire. He had reportedly been blaming her for being issueless.
A 35-year-old woman was allegedly strangulated to death by her husband following an altercation at Bandlaguda Rajiv Grihakalpa in Keesara mandal in Ranga Reddy district on Sunday evening.
According to police, the accused Narsinga Rao, who was in an inebriate state, attacked his wife Hemalatha in a fit of anger and throttled her to death, using a wire. He had reportedly been blaming her for being issueless.
Hemalatha was a sweeper at the very company where Rao was engaged as a security guard. Hailing from Nalgonda, Rao migrated to the city in search of livelihood, after marrying her in 1990. Following a complaint from the victim’s relatives, a case of homicide was registered against Rao. The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem. Further investigation is on.
