AP Rashtra Parirakshana Vedika on Wednesday urged Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy not to compromise on the demand to keep the State united, and also not to present any alternative proposals to the Group of Ministers (GoM) on behalf of government. In a memorandum to the Chief Minister, Vedika state coordinator V Laxman Reddy urged him to exert pressure on the Central government to implement the sixth option of Sri Krishna Committee report. Meanwhile, former MLA Varadarajulu Reddy said that Kiran Reddy was the only leader who had been working hard to prevent the division of the State. He said that YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy was giving statements for the sake of his party and not for the united AP. He said that the people had started understanding the double-speak of YSRCP leader and would teach his party a lesson in the elections.
Kiran to attend Rachabanda tomorrow
Hyderabad: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will participate in Rachabanda programme to be held in Visakhapatnam and West Godavari districts on November 15. He will address the Rachabanda programme to be held at Chodavaram in Visakhapatnam district first, and proceed from there to Jagannathapuram in West Godavari district.
