Hyderabad: TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has convened an emergency Legislature Party meeting on Sunday. This decision comes after news reports that BAC meeting on Draft T Bill is likely to be held on Monday.
The TRS camp is expected to devise strategies to be adopted in the BAC meeting as well as on the floor of the House. Rao is also likely to call upon party legislators to be alert to avert any conspiracy by Seemandhra MLAs to avoid discussion on Telangana Bill in the ongoing session.
Stating that nothing was more important than Telangana Bill in state politics at present, Sircilla legislator K Tarakarama Rao demanded debate on the draft Bill to be taken up in the ongoing winter session of Assembly.
A constructive debate should be allowed in the Assembly before situation went out of hand as witnessed in employees tussle at Secretariat, he felt.
