Hyderabad: Condemning the attitude of TDP MLAs who tore down the copies of T Bill, the CPI state secretary Narayana felt that Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu, who kept silence on the act, had ‘lost faith in politics’.
Briefing media after the extended executive committee meeting of the party on Tuesday, Narayana felt that the TDP chief, who served as Chief Minister for nine long years, was behaving like an ‘opportunist’ by opposing the decision to bifurcate the State.
Narayana criticised the behavior of the YSRCP members who were trying to hinder the process.
While responding to the reports of likely alliance between TDP and BJP, he said that it would not benefit the TDP in anyway. On the other hand it would be a threat to the secular forces of the country. And the BJP, which stood for Telangana, as a partner will have to face greater challenge in the region.
He said that the executive meeting resolved to fight against the power hike throughout the State and demanded CBI enquiry into the killing of forest officials by smugglers. The party would be celebrating its 88thfoundation day and will commemorate Chandra Rajeshwara Rao’s birth anniversary under the slogan ‘Save Secular System’.
