Chittoor: Criticising Congress and Telugu Desam parties for going ahead with divisive politics, YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy called upon the villagers to raise their voice pressing for an undivided Andhra Pradesh. Addressing a public meeting as part of ‘Samaikaya Sankharavam Yatra’in Chittoor on Sunday, the MP alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was helping Sonia Gandhi in dividing the State while Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was openly cheating them.

Sonia Gandhi is all set to divide the State and Naidu is making the task simpler, he alleged while adding that Kiran Kumar Reddy was deceiving them with questionable misdeeds. “They are only bothered about catching votes and seats and least concerned about the hardships people were facing. They are not thinking about the permanent damage that is being inflicted on farmers, women and students,” he charged. “Even when the State is united, we are not getting water unless the needs of upper riparian states of Maharashtra and Karnataka are fulfilled. After the division there will be no drinking water from Kuppam to Srikakulam,” he said.
