‘Manasulo Mata’ interactive programme launched

Visakhapatnam: To tap the inherent potential of the working class and to strengthen the communication system across the organisation, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) launched ‘Manasulo Mata’ on Tuesday. The interactive exercise aims at providing an opportunity for a cross-section of employees to communicate with the top management.

Employees in the grades of Junior Officer to Deputy Manager were selected for the interactive session on Tuesday, which was held at the Technical Training Institute conference hall. RINL Chairman and Managing Director P Madhusudan emphasised the need for effective communication in the journey towards excellence. He said the communication exercise would not only help enhance discipline but also increase productivity across the organisation.

He said human resource was the greatest asset in transformation of work culture to realise the targets. “Today, RINL is able to compete with major steel makers only due to efficient human resource management,” he added. The CMD called upon the participants to meet the targets in the competitive market.

Director (Commercial) TK Chand, Director (Projects) PC Mohapatra, Director (Personnel) GBS Prasad, Director (Operations) DN Rao and Director (Finance) TVS Krishna Kumar responded to the issues related to operational efficiency, production and enhancement of human resources capability raised by the participants.

The interactive session would be organised regularly covering a cross-section of executives. The employees would be selected at random covering all departments.
