With the TDP Mahanadu, the first after the bifurcation of the state kick started on Wednesday, TDP Chief and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the Telugu Desam party would continue to strive for the welfare of Telugu people.

Inaugurating the three day conclave, Mahanadu at Gandipet, the Chief Minister said that the party would take measures for development of the state and fight for people’s issues in different roles at the Centre, AP and Telangana. Ensuring prosperity for the people, Mr Naidu said that TDP will fight for justice in both the states and that Telugu Desam alone can keep Telugus united.

Mr Naidu urged TRS government to come forward to resolve all the impending issues between Telangana and AP amicably as confrontation and provocation will not solve issues. He also said that TDP has the strength to bring in 100 more leaders if one leader leaves the party referring to the defection of TDP legislators to TRS and praised the TDP leaders for the hard work put in to make the party emerge stronger than ever.

The TDP Chief also pointed out that the party has enrolled 54 lakh members in only 50 days and stated that no one can damage TDP even with conspiracies spun against them.
