Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is on a visit to Turkey. After his grandson Nara Devaansh entered his family, this is the first family outing of the AP CM. Chandrababu took a break after putting in long hours during the 12-day Godavari Pushkaralu. He is expected to return to Hyderabad on August 9.

The TDP leaders say that though the AP CM is on a private trip, he has been conducting a video-conference with ministers and senior leaders of the party thrice a day. He has been getting updates on all the developments in the state from his loyalists.

The TDP leaders also said that Chandrababu has been in touch with the TDP MPs and giving them guidance on the strategies to be followed to achieve special status and funds to AP.

On Wednesday, Babu held a video-conference with the Collectors of districts facing scanty rainfall. He asked officials to ensure that there is no scarcity of drinking water and fodder anywhere in the state.
