The rains have lashed out heavily in the past week causing a lot of loss for the traders as lakhs of rupees of essential goods have been submerged in flood waters as the rain water entered their shops.
People are unable to go out of their houses with floods surrounding the complete region. The locals state that while the relief team has not reached them, only a single official visited the place enquiring about the condition.
