Online sex racket busted, two held

The city police arrested a man and his female accomplice for running a hi-tech sex racket at Seethammapeta area in the city on Tuesday. They were identified as P Neelakhanta Reddy (26) of Hyderabad and a local woman K Sravani (25).

In the process, the police also rescued three girls who were pushed into flesh trade.
They were later sent to a rescue home. Inspector of Dwaraka Police Station, Ch Shanmukha Rao said that the illegal flesh trade was being run online and the main organiser of the trade Neelakhanta Reddy alias Akhil from Ameerpet area in Hyderabad has created a website named ‘online call girls@vizag’ and posted his mobile number on the site for call girls service.
While bookings were done online, the money was exchanged personally. Police said that Neelakanta Reddy came to Vizag about four months ago and got in touch with Sravani, who was already in the trade procuring girls from various parts of Andhra Pradesh and pushing them into flesh trade offering good money.
After receiving calls from the customers, Akhil sends customers to Sravani’s house, where she collects money from them before sending girls to bedrooms located in the same house.
Acting on a tip-off, police monitored the website and conducted the raid at the house where they arrested Akhil and Sravani. The police also seized Rs 10,800, five mobile phones and packets of branded condoms.
