​Vempalle (Kadapa): A mini-stadium would be constructed at Vempalle soon for the benefit of athletics and sports persons in the region, disclosed Legislative Council Deputy Chairman MLC Satish Reddy.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, he said that the proposal for the construction of the mini-stadium in the town was pending for the past many years. He said he has submitted a memorandum to Minister K Atchannaidu seeking the construction of mini- stadium. In turn, the Minister has given assurance in this regard, he said.
