The MLA presided over an all-party meeting at Madhulatha Conference Hall here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he said on an average about one lakh people visit the city daily from other areas, following which the vehicular traffic has increased in the city. The MLA said that there is a pertinent need to focus on city planning.

Efforts should be made to identify pockets that required new scheme roads, link roads and also to plan for the future needs in terms of flyovers as a long-term measure, he said.
