TTD EO inspects TTD Chennai Information Centre
TTD executive officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Sunday inspected the TTD Information Centre in Chennai.
Tirupati: TTD executive officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Sunday inspected the TTD Information Centre in Chennai.
Chennai Information Centre was located at Venkataramana street in busy T Nagar area has a temple with the deities of Lord Venakteswara and Goddess Padmavathi which attracts devotees.
According to a press release issued by TTD here on Sunday, TTD executive officer instructed the engineering officials to give a facelift to the temple. He directed them to modify the outlook of the roof, walls etc.
Later, inspecting the potu (kitchen) he directed the authorities concerned that anna prasadams, including pulihora, daddojanam and venpongal should be as tastier as at Tirumala.
The executive officer felt the need to improve the sanitation in a big way and also the need to set up RO water units as the temple is being visited by multitude of devotees especially during weekends and on festivals.
Chief Engineer Chandrasekhar Reddy, executive engineer Krishna Reddy, deputy conservator of forests Sivaram Prasad, assistant executive officer (AEO) Srinivas, Local Advisory Committee President Krishna Rao were also present, the press release added.
