Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that efforts are on to develop SVRR hospital to compete with the corporate hospitals here. He said that many more facilities were already in place while the sanitation has to be improved in the hospital. 

Tirupati: Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas inaugurated the newly constructed Rs 30 lakh building for the patients’ attendants in Sri Venkateswara Ramnarain Ruia (SVRR) Government General Hospital here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that efforts are on to develop SVRR hospital to compete with the corporate hospitals here. He said that many more facilities were already in place while the sanitation has to be improved in the hospital.

With regard to Krishna Pushkaralu arrangements, Srinivas said that round-the-clock medical facilities would be available in all ghats. An ambulance would be kept ready in every ghat while sufficient number of doctors and para-medical staff would be posted in all ghats for providing medical services to the devotees visiting the ghats to have a holy dip on the occasion of auspicious river festival. The Minister stated that medicines would also be provided at free of cost.
