TDP cadre protests over Agricultural Marketing Committee chief appointment
The district coordination committee of the TDP, which met here at the party office in Ameenapeta here, witnessed protests from Chintalapudi constituency leaders over the appointment of Agricultural Market Committee chairman.

Many leaders like Dara Veerendra, Morampudi Srinivasa Rao, Nandigam Sitarama Tilak, Chinnamsetty Sitaramayya and party workers who reached the party office alleged that the post of Agricultural Marketing Committee (AMC) in Chintalapudi took place without the knowledge of MLA and former minister Peethala Sujatha.
The meeting was attended by district in-charge minister Prathipati Pulla Rao, BC welfare minister Kollu Ravindra, Pithani Satyanarayana, K S Jawahar. Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao assured them that he would take the issue to the notice of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and the problem will be solved.
Later, the minister said that as per the direction of the Chief Minister, the party is conducting the coordination committee meetings in the districts. He said all party committees and affiliated committees’ appointments almost concluded. However, another two mandal level committees, 124 villages committees have to be appointed.
In 15 constituencies in the district, there were no differences among the TDP party cadre. BC welfare minister Kollu Ravindra said that there has been some communication gap in propagating the government schemes among the public and this needs to be addressed.
In West Godavari, he said that there were some problems like water scarcity and power shortage and assured that to address them soon. State Handicrafts Development Corporation chairman Pali Prasad, ZP chairman Mullapudi Bapiraju, Rajahmundry MP Maganti Murali Mohan and others participated.
