Health secretary warns of action against ex-consultant for damaging the image of AMTZ and government
In a statement here on Wednesday, Poonam Malakondaiah said that AP Medtech Zone has seen a spectacular success in mobilising investments. Both Central and the state governments have provided substantial support to the work of AMTZ, a first-of-its-kind in the country for medical technology.
She said an ex-contractual consultant of AMTZ, who was removed for unethical practices, has indulged in maligning the image of organisation and the government. AMTZ is supervised by a board of directors consisting of officials from the Central and the state government and luminaries including Dr Jitender Sharma,

She warned that legal action will be taken against Judish Raju, an ex-employee for indulging in false propaganda. She said Judish Raju, who made false allegations in a press meet on Tuesday, has also created a false mail ID in the name of CEO AMTZ and sent over 840 mails and trying to damage the reputation of AMTZ Ltd. She warned that a compliant of cybercrime and defamation will be lodged against him.
