The executive officer of Durga Malleswara Swami temple in Vijayawada has set a new trend in effecting transfers of the general staff. Till now, the EOs used to effect transfers based on their personal whims and fancies. But the current EO, Padma, has called the four AEOs and asked them to decide for themselves where they would fit best and in which capacity will they be able to give the best.
Due to this, the four AEOs discussed among themselves and gave their choices. Based on this their transfers were affected. With the AEOs in the loop about transfers, there is a fair degree of transparency in the process and everyone is satisfied. AEO S Atchyutaramaiah has been given the maintenance of the main temple, reception counter and overall responsibility.
D Saibabu has been entrusted with the establishment and tonsuring section’s responsibilities. M Tirumaleswara Rao will be overall in-charge of the affairs in the city, while S Lakshmikanthamma will take care of stationery, Prasadams and stores.
