Task assigned to NUDA for tank restoration: Narayana
Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana has informed that responsibility of taking up development works of Swarnala Cheruvu was entrusted to Nellore Urban Development Authority (NUDA). The Minister laid foundation stone for construction of the roads and side drains in 11th and 13th divisions in the city here on Saturday.

The Minister laid foundation stone for construction of the roads and side drains in 11th and 13th divisions in the city here on Saturday.
Speaking to the media, Narayana stated that they would lay foundation stones soon for the construction of mineral water plants in the city for providing drinking water at Rs 2 for 20 litres. He also said that the Nellore Municipal Corporation would develop outskirt colonies by providing basic amenities. The Minister also explained 90 per cent of SC/ST sub plan funds were spent for developing these colonies. Further, the Minister reviewed various works with district officials at his camp office.
He said that about 15,000 people were benefitted from various Corporations after getting subsidy loans. The Minister mentioned that 43 members had utilised loans against 50 from AP Brahmin Welfare Corporation, 105 beneficiaries have availed loans against 331 in BC Corporation during 2017-18, 362 members out of 1,953 have utilised loans from the Muslim Minority Corporation, and 16 out of 100 in Minority Corporation. He appealed to the legislators to interact with the beneficiaries and enquire about the issues they were facing. Collector R Mutyala Raju and other officials were present.
