APEPDCL website to benefit LT, HT consumers
Chairman and Managing Director of APEPDCL H Y Dora launched a newly developed website as part of ‘AP Digital’ project under taken up by the Discom on Monday at Information Technology building of APEPDCL for the use of its consumers for providing quick and better services especially for HT and LT consumers and for its employees.
Visakhapatnam: Chairman and Managing Director of APEPDCL H Y Dora launched a newly developed website as part of ‘AP Digital’ project under taken up by the Discom on Monday at Information Technology building of APEPDCL for the use of its consumers for providing quick and better services especially for HT and LT consumers and for its employees.
Speaking on the occasion, the CMD requested the consumers of five districts to use the website. He said that features including HT consumer portal with smart bill, LT consumer portal, Employees portal, mobile compatibility and call back facilities are added to the website.
The HT consumer portal with smart bill is used for billing and payment details with analytics, Real Time Power Outage details, smart bill is developed for all the HT consumers in which the consumers can view the details such as bill summary, consumption pattern, total consumption, open access consumption, detailed bill calculation, maximum demand reached during the previous year and historical power factor for the previous year.
The CMD said that all HT consumers could register their mobile numbers with APEPDCL. The user name and passwords would be sent as SMS. Upon logging for the first time, the user should change the password immediately.
In case of non-receipt of SMS, the customers may contact the senior accounts officer of the respective district. For LT consumers, the portal is used for billing and payment details with analytics, option for paying the bills directly, billing and consumption pattern, register complaint. All the consumers who are already registered with APEPDCL can login using their existing credentials.
In the call back facility, the consumers can request for a call-back duly providing their name and mobile number. A representative from Command Control Centre (CCC) would contact the consumer.
APEPDCL Directors B Seshukumar, T V V S Chandra Sekhar, CGM (Operation) P V V Sathyanarayana, GMs C Srinivasa Murty, G Sarat Kumar, M Sathyanarayana Murty and Srinivasa Reddy were present.
