Vijayawada: The Left parties including CPM and CPI called for total blockade of the National Highways (NHs) in the State on Wednesday. The city secretaries of two parties D Kasinath and D Shankar asked the people to extend support for their protest. They said that they would stop vehicles at Kanakadurga Varadhi at 10:30 am as part of protest.

They said that the BJP was intentionally avoiding the no-confidence motion in Parliament.
