The Andhra Bank employees from Prakasam and Nellore districts held sports meet at Hyderi Club in Ongole on Sunday as part of the 71st Independence Day celebrations
Ongole: The Andhra Bank employees from Prakasam and Nellore districts held sports meet at Hyderi Club in Ongole on Sunday as part of the 71st Independence Day celebrations.
The bank Ongole zonal manager, P Ramakrishna said that the sports meet helped as a relief and refreshing opportunity to the hard working staff and rejuvenate them to offer better solutions to the customers in the coming days.
He said that it was the culture of Andhra Bank to participate in social responsible services as part of the banking duties.
The sports meet chairman and assistant manager of zonal office, P Krishnaiah said that they had conducted the cricket tournament also for the employees on July 22 at Sarma College ground.
He said that the winners of the games and sports held on Sunday would receive prizes as part of the Independence Day celebrations in the zonal office.
The bank conducted various games and sports competitions including shuttle badminton, chess, caroms and games like lemon and spoon, skipping, musical chairs for women.
