Electric buses in Tirupati by next month: Chandrababu Naidu
While fixing target for the officials to operate electric buses in Tirumala Tirupati by September,Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that, they will come on the roads of all important urban areas and religious places in the State
Amaravati: While fixing target for the officials to operate electric buses in Tirumala Tirupati by September,Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that, they will come on the roads of all important urban areas and religious places in the State.
During a review meeting with senior officials on Friday at Secretariat, Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to take necessary initiatives to promote electricbuses in the State.He suggested them to replace all the vehicles with the electric vehicles in the statein a phased manner. The Chief Minister instructed the officials to take pilot project in Tirupati and Tirumala immediately.
He constituted a committee to ensure the implementation of the project. The committee consists of officials from Energy department, APS RTC and others. He asked the committee to go for tenders within one week, after completing the detailed project report on it.
