Congress seeks support for Monday bandh

Nellore: DCC President Panabaka Krishnaiah has alleged that the BJP-led NDA government has been increasing fuel prices frequently for the last four years.
Addressing the media at Indira Bhavan here on Saturday, Krishnaiah said that the Congress had given a bandh call on September 10 over hike in fuel prices in the country.
“The Modi government looted Rs 11 lakh crore from the public by increasing the prices of fuel.
People from all classes were facing troubles as the increase in fuel prices has impacted their finances,” said the DCC President.
Majority political parties in North and South have extended their support to the bandh, he said, appealing to the public to make bandh success.
Congress leaders CV Sesha Reddy, Chevuri Deva Kumar Reddy, Udatha Venkata Rao, P Seetharambabu and others were present.
