Defence Research Museum : DRDO chief G Satheesh Reddy urged to expedite works
Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh ABRSM state convener and Sri Venkateswara University SVU Chemistry Professor YV Rami Reddy on Saturday met Defence Research and Development Organisation DRDO new chairman G Satheesh Reddy at his office in New Delhi and felicitated him on his appointment as the head of countrys premier defence research institute
Tirupati: Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) state convener and Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) Chemistry Professor YV Rami Reddy on Saturday met Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) new chairman G Satheesh Reddy at his office in New Delhi and felicitated him on his appointment as the head of country’s premier defence research institute.
Reddy on behalf of ABRSM (Higher Education Teachers Wing) submitted a representation to Satheesh Reddy to expedite the works on the construction of defence research museum for which foundation stone was laid at Alipiri, by sanctioning required funds immediately.
Rami Reddy also in the representation sought allocation funds from DRDO for research in state universities and also research establishments.
Satheesh Reddy, who responded positively assured that he will discuss with the authorities concerned on providing funds for taking up the works on defence research museum in Tirupati as early as possible.
