GVL Narasimha Rao ready for debate with Lokesh

Vijayawada: BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao said that he was ready to participate in an open debate on AgriGold assets issue with Minister for Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh. Speaking to media here on Tuesday, he said TDP MP CM Ramesh challenged him on Twitter to participate in the debate with Lokesh.

Narasimha Rao said that he accepted the challenge and asked the TDP leaders how the value of assets of AgriGold had come down from Rs 25,000 crore to Rs 2,000 crore. He suspected that the ministers of Telugu Desam made plans to grab AgriGold assets. He said that they would intensify the agitation for the victims of Agri Gold.

On the other hand, TDP urban president and MLC Budda Venkanna countered the allegations and termed the BJP as Bharitiya Jagan Pawan party. Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan colluded with the BJP’s top leadership.

He said that MP GVL Narasimha Rao was making false allegations against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh for getting cheap publicity. He challenged GVL Narasimha Rao to contest against him in Vijayawada city.

Budda Venkanna said he would leave the state if he failed to win in the elections and alleged BJP national president Amit Shah threatened Essel Group not to resolve AgriGold issue. He said the BJP leaders should stop dramas on this issue. The people will teach a fitting lesson to them in the next elections, he said.
