Vijayawada: YSRCP leader and former MLA Jogi Ramesh said the TDP leaders should be ashamed for their comments made during attack on Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Vizag Airport.
He said the TDP leaders hastily made comments that the attack on Jagan at Vizag airport was a ‘high drama.’ Addressing media at the state party office here on Sunday, he said the remand report made by the police revealed that the attack on Jagan was an ‘attempt to murder.’
He said the TDP leaders including Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu hastily made comments without properly verifying the facts and seriousness of the crime.
Jogi Ramesh demanded explanation from TDP leaders about the report made by the police after the investigation into the incident. He alleged the TDP leaders tried to project the incident as a ‘high drama’ when the YSRC cadre and people were praying for speedy recovery of Jagan.
He said the true face of Chandrababu Naidu was exposed with the attack on Jagan. Jogi Ramesh has demanded that the State DGP R P Thakur should resign from his post for his baseless comments that the attempt was made to get wide publicity. He alleged the DGP totally failed to control law and order in the state and demanded that the police boss should resign from his post.
Referring to film actor Sivaji’s statements about Operation Garuda, he said the actor should be arrested and questioned who was behind the operation Garuda. He asked how Sivaji can predict about the attack many months ago. He demanded that the police should arrest Sivaji to crack the conspiracy hatched to kill Jagan.
