Guntur: Acharya Nagarjuna University Vice-Chancellor Prof A Rajendra Prasad on Thursday inaugurated the three-day Pharmaceutical Expo at Chebrolu Hanumaiah Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Chowdavaram near Guntur city.
He also inaugurated additional classroom and laboratory in the college. Speaking on the occasion, he said that there was bright future for pharmacy students. He added this type exhibitions would be useful for the students. Earlier, students explained how medicines will work to check diseases in the human body and how herbal plants are useful to human beings.
Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board environment engineer B Madhusudhana Rao said that it is the responsibility of everybody to plant saplings to prevent pollution.
Earlier Nagarjuna Education Society president Dr Rayapati Srinivas felicitated Prof A.Rajendra Prasad and presented a memento. JKC College secretary Jagarlamudi Murali, RVR&JC Engineering College secretary Rayapati Gopala Krishna, CHIPS principal Vidyadhar were among those present.
