Bhimavaram: Passing on the local tradition and culture to future generations, villagers of Srungavruksham in Palakoderu mandal took out a huge procession as part of Kavidi Seva to mark Karthika Masam rituals on Sunday.

The villagers have an old tradition to hold rally with Kavidi before performing puja at Sri Valli Devasena Sameta Subrahmanyeswara Swamy Temple during Karthika Masam.

The devotees carry Kavidi with fruits, flowers and other puja paraphernalia and reach the temple.

A large number of devotees, including old, women and children, took out the procession festival. They performed Abhishekam to Lord Subrahmanyeswara at the temple.

The men dressed in Pancha actively involved in the age-old ritual.
