Vijayawada: Apart from business development, interaction with businessmen is important for the growth in business, said Vijayawada Chamber of Commerce president V Bhaskar Rao.
Bhaskar Rao, who was the chief guest at the inaugural function of Visista Consumer Exhibition organised at the Sesha Sai Kalyana Mandapam organised by the Business Network International (BNI), here on Friday, said that business opportunities were growing day by day in the capital region of Vijayawada.
He complimented the organisers of BNI who guided the business successfully in their business endeavours. BNI was supporting the businessmen and creating awareness on imports and exports of various products besides guiding the new businessmen on business techniques.
This exhibition is also useful for customers, he said.BNI regional executive directors Jai H Desai and Vishal Desai spoke on the occasion.
They said that they had been organising BNI for the last 14 years across the country and supported various businessmen. After bifurcation of the state, they have formed BNI AP chapter and organised the exhibition last year which attracted about 12,000 visitors.
About 95 stalls were set up and participants from across the country had showcased their products related to building material, decors, garments, furniture, jewellery, real-estate, builders, financial services, computers, mobiles, electrical and hardware products and many more.
Members of the expo PS Seshu Babu, N Trinadh, M Durgaprasad, D Aparna, Radhika and others were present.
