Guntur: First general body meeting of the new board discussed on the need to check zero business in Mirchi Yard causing loss to the state exchequer. The members decided to supply free meals to the farmers who will bring their chilli stocks to the Mirchi Yard and mineral water to the farmers. The meeting stressed on need to provide better facilities to the farmers and stressed on need to develop the Guntur Mirchi Yard.
Venna Sambasiva Reddy, Yard Chairman said that they will try to get a better price to the chill farmers and solve their problems and thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for giving an opportunity to him as a chairman for the Asia’s biggest Mirchi Yard.
